What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?
For quite some time, I’ve struggled to establish a consistent bedtime and wake-up routine. Despite my best intentions, I often find myself hitting the snooze button multiple times each morning. As much as I desire to start my day with purpose, the allure of a few extra minutes of sleep has been winning the battle.
Recognizing that failing to plan is planning to fail, I’ve decided that this pattern is no longer an option for me. It’s time to take control and create a routine that aligns with my goals and responsibilities.
Earlier this week, I set a concrete plan in motion. I’ve programmed my alarms to signal bedtime at 10 PM and wake-up time at 7 AM. This simple yet powerful step marks the beginning of a transformative journey. However, my ultimate goal goes beyond just waking up on time. I aim to align my routine with a higher purpose: to please God and to carry out His will with energy and focus.
I find inspiration in the words of 1 Corinthians 14:40 (KJV): “Let all things be done decently and in order.” By establishing a disciplined routine, I am creating an environment where I can serve God effectively, starting each day refreshed and ready to embrace His plan for me.
I’m committed to this change, knowing that a structured routine will enable me to live a life that honors God. This journey is more than just about getting up on time; it’s about becoming the best version of myself, fully prepared to fulfill the purpose God has set before me.
Moreover, this consistency will help me achieve my camping goals. By maintaining a regular schedule, I can be more consistent with my Wherever We Land blog posts and better manage the planning and scheduling of our much-needed trips. This structured approach will ensure that I stay on top of my responsibilities and make the most of the adventures that lie ahead.
