How often do you walk or run?

There was a time when I used to get up early, around 7 a.m., before work to squeeze in some exercise. I’d find a Walkercise video on YouTube, lace up my sneakers, and get moving. It was a routine that worked for me—I’d start my day with a burst of energy and the satisfaction of knowing I’d already done something good for my body and mind. But somewhere along the way, life happened. My morning walks slipped through the cracks, and the routine that once set the tone for my day fell off the wagon.

Snatcher even bought me a stationary bike, as I was determined to switch things up and give my workouts some variety. For a week, I committed to riding that bike. It felt good—like I was doing something positive for myself. But just as quickly as I’d started, I stopped. Maybe it was a busy schedule, fatigue, or the ever-present temptation to hit snooze a few extra times. Whatever the reason, that regimen didn’t last either.

Now, here I am, looking back at both of those habits and realizing how much I need to reclaim them. Not because I’m chasing some weight-loss goal, but because I want to keep my mind and body in shape. There’s something about moving, whether it’s walking, running, or cycling, that clears my head and helps me feel centered. It’s a form of self-care that I’ve let slide, and I miss it.

So, my goal is simple: start again. No pressure, no grand expectations. I just want to move more, get back to those morning walks, and maybe dust off that exercise bike. It’s time to prioritize my well-being again—not just for my physical health but for the clarity and peace that comes with it. Here’s to getting back on track, one step at a time.
