What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Most people who know me from our YouTube channel with Snatcher probably think I’m an outgoing, always-ready-for-the-spotlight kind of person. But the truth is, I’m actually an introvert. I thrive in my quiet, reflective spaces, where I can recharge and simply be myself without feeling the pressure to perform.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the creative process of making videos and sharing our adventures with the world. There’s a deep sense of fulfillment in knowing that Snatcher and I are helping others step out of their comfort zones to enjoy the beauty of nature, but there’s a part of me that always craves that retreat into solitude. It’s a balance I’m constantly working on.
Behind the scenes, I’m the type of person who enjoys staying home, reading a good book, or spending time quietly reflecting on my relationship with God and the world around me. But when the camera rolls, I step into a different mode. I’ve learned how to be entertaining and lively because, in those moments, I know it’s not about me. It’s about sharing a message, a story, or a moment that can impact someone else’s life.
It’s funny how people assume that being on camera means you must be extroverted. But for me, it’s more of a conscious decision—a choice to show up and be present for something bigger than myself. I may be introverted, but when it’s time to film, I let go of that quiet side, just long enough to invite others into our journey.
So next time you watch one of our videos, know that there’s a lot more happening beneath the surface than meets the eye. I’m still that quiet, reflective person at heart, even when I’m making jokes or sharing a laugh with Snatcher on screen. It’s all part of the adventure!
