What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?
Each month, as the calendar flips its pages, I find myself filled with a sense of gratitude. Not just for the changing seasons or the holidays, but for the precious lives that intertwine with mine.
January, a time of new beginnings, marks the birthday of a dear friend, a reminder of the hope and promise that each year brings. February is made even more special by the birthday of my grandfather, a testament to the enduring power of love.
March, with its budding flowers and warmer days, celebrates the life of a family member, a reflection of the growth and renewal that is ever-present in our lives. April showers bring May flowers, and May brings the birthday of a person whose laughter is as bright as the sunshine, a gift from the divine.
Summer months, filled with warmth and light, are made even brighter by the birthdays of two incredible people. June and July, with their long days and starry nights, celebrate the lives of individuals whose friendship is a true blessing.
As the year winds down, September and October bring a sense of harvest and gratitude. These months mark the birthdays of two people who have taught me the true meaning of faith and compassion. November, with its cozy sweaters and pumpkin spice, is a time for reflection and thanks. It also celebrates the life of someone whose creativity is a testament to God’s artistry.
And finally, December, the month to celebrate life and love. It’s also a time to celebrate the birthday of a person whose spirit shines as brightly. My grandmother, love you grandma : )
Each month is a reminder of the precious gift of life, a gift from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It’s a year-long celebration of love, friendship, and the divine grace that surrounds us.
