What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?

As I reflect on the idea of living a long life, my thoughts are centered on gratitude and submission to the Lord’s will. I’ve come to understand that the days we have on this earth are gifts, not guarantees, and how we use them matters deeply. If it is God’s will for me to live a long life, I pray that I spend each day honoring Him, appreciating His creation, and being a blessing to others.

My heart’s desire is to share that long life with my husband, Snatcher. My prayer is that we remain in good health, with strong minds and mobile bodies, so we can continue to enjoy life together as we do now. Whether it’s hiking through nature, camping under the stars, or simply walking hand in hand, I hope we can continue to create memories that glorify God and bring us closer together.

But longevity isn’t just about the number of years. It’s about how those years are spent. I pray that we don’t squander the time God has given us but instead use it to grow in faith, deepen our love for one another, and help others. I want our lives to reflect the goodness of God, to be a testimony of His grace and mercy.

Each day we are blessed to wake up, to breathe, to see the beauty of the world around us is a chance to praise Him. If the Lord allows us to live long lives, I pray we remain steadfast in our faith, always seeking His guidance and never taking a single moment for granted.

Until the day He calls us home, I hope Snatcher and I can continue this journey together, growing older but never growing weary of the joy and purpose He has placed in our hearts. A long life is a blessing, but it is the Lord’s presence and purpose in that life that makes it truly meaningful.

Hallelujah for the time we’ve been given, and may we use it wisely, together, until we meet our Savior face to face.

Psalm 91: 16 states that God will satisfy those who abide in Him with long life. I 🙏 that you abide in Him and live a long life because that’s His will for you and for all who love Him.
    Blessings and love,

I believe God’s Word is truth and John 15:7 states If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. So I claim Psalm 91: 16 and that is my prayer for you as well in Jesus Christ name Amen🙏🏽
