What is your mission?

As I reflect on the purpose of my life, I find it wrapped up in two intertwined missions. The first, and most important, is to live a life that pleases and honors God, spreading His word wherever He leads me. The second is to embrace the adventure of traveling the United States with my husband, Snatcher, exploring the beauty of God’s creation in all its diversity, and learning about the history that has shaped this nation. Together, these missions form the foundation of our journey, both spiritual and physical, as we set out in our newly converted van, Glo.

A Mission of Faith
God’s word reminds us in Matthew 28:19-20. For me, this isn’t just a command; it’s a calling. In everything I do—whether it’s through my daily walk as a wife, mother, and friend or through our YouTube channel, *Wherever We Land*—I aim to reflect the light of Jesus. Sharing the gospel isn’t always about grand gestures; sometimes, it’s in the small things: a kind word, a helping hand, or a conversation that points others to Him.

Traveling in Glo presents a unique opportunity to live out this mission. Every campsite, hiking trail, or park becomes a new stage where God’s love can shine. Whether we’re enjoying the majesty of the Grand Canyon, the serenity of the Smoky Mountains, or the vastness of Yellowstone, I am reminded that all of this was created by His hand.

A Mission of Adventure
Traveling the United States has always been a dream of mine. There’s something captivating about experiencing the vastness and variety of our country. From state to state, there’s history waiting to be uncovered and stories waiting to be told. Glo, our Dodge Ram ProMaster van, is our ticket to this adventure.

Converting her into a camper van was an act of love and patience, much like the journey we are embarking on. She’s more than a vehicle—she’s our home on wheels, a tool for ministry, and a means to discover God’s fingerprints in the world around us.

National parks are at the top of our list. Each one is a masterpiece, a testimony to the Creator’s power and imagination. But it’s not just about the breathtaking landscapes; it’s about understanding the history that connects us all. From the battlefields of Gettysburg to the civil rights landmarks in Alabama, I’m eager to learn and grow, honoring the sacrifices and triumphs that have shaped this nation.

Balancing Two Missions
These two missions—spiritual and adventurous—are not separate. They complement each other beautifully. As I travel, I find new ways to connect with people and share God’s word. And as I share His word, I am reminded of the beauty of His creation and the privilege it is to explore it.

Living out my faith while pursuing my passion for travel is a reminder that God calls us to abundant life—not one of stagnation, but one of purpose, joy, and movement. In every sunrise, every campfire, every trail, and every conversation, I hope to reflect the love of Christ and inspire others to seek Him.

Looking Ahead
Our journey with Glo is just beginning, but the excitement is undeniable. As Snatcher and I hit the road, I pray for wisdom, protection, and opportunities to share the gospel. I also pray for moments of awe and wonder that deepen our appreciation for God’s handiwork.

My mission is clear: to live for God and honor Him with my life while embracing the adventure He has set before me. With Glo as our vessel, we are ready to embark on this journey, one state, one park, and one soul at a time.

If you’re reading this and feeling inspired, I encourage you to step out in faith, embrace your calling, and see where God leads you. Together, we can live lives that honor Him, exploring the beauty of His creation and sharing His word with the world.
