My name, “Fish Snatcher,” is undoubtedly unique. It evokes images of the untamed, a hint of the wild. The origin story, as my mother tells it, is quite the anecdote. Apparently, as a newborn, I possessed a grip that could rival a seasoned angler. During my first bath, I snatched a rubber duck with such ferocity that the nurses were both startled and amused. Thus, the moniker was born.

“Fish Snatcher” – it certainly turns heads. It’s a conversation starter, a reminder of my unconventional beginnings. While my closest friends affectionately shorten it to “Snatcher,” the outside world has bestowed upon me another epithet: “Big Fish.” This moniker, earned on the basketball courts of the South Bronx, reflects a different aspect of my personality – ambition, drive, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Growing up in the Bronx, I encountered a spectrum of reactions to my name. Some were bewildered, others intrigued. But my education, my journey through academia and my subsequent entrepreneurial ventures, have demonstrated that my name does not define me. It’s a piece of my narrative, a testament to my mother’s vibrant imagination and a reminder of the unexpected twists and turns life can offer.

“Fish Snatcher” – it’s a name that hooks you in. It’s a story waiting to be told, a reminder that individuality is a gift, and that even the most unconventional beginnings can lead to extraordinary destinations. If you take the time to Google my name “Fish Snatcher,” you might be surprised at what you find!
