If I Won the Lottery…

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Okay, let’s be honest, who hasn’t fantasized about winning the lottery? I mean, the possibilities are endless! So, to indulge my inner dreamer, here’s what I would do if I actually hit the jackpot:

First things first, I’d fall to my knees and thank the heavens above! Then, I’d probably spend a good hour or two just staring at the numbers, disbelief slowly turning into a giddy, excited panic. Once the initial shock wore off, I’d do something truly meaningful. I’d ask God to show me where to give my tithe – 10% of my winnings to a cause that truly needs it.

After that, it’s all about the people I love. My family would be showered with blessings. New homes, college funds, early retirement – you name it, they’d have it. I’d clear any debts, big or small, for everyone I care about.

But here’s the real kicker: I’d buy 100 acres of land. Yes, you read that right. 100 acres! I’d call it “Wherever We Land,” and it would be my own personal slice of relaxation and adventure. Imagine this:

▪︎ Outdoor Adventure Central: Hiking trails winding through the woods, a crystal-clear pond for swimming and fishing, a designated area for bonfires and stargazing.

• Family Fun Zone: A giant backyard for games of frisbee, badminton, and maybe even a small petting zoo.

• A Home Away From Home: A cozy cabin for weekend getaways, complete with a roaring fireplace and a porch swing for lazy afternoons.

“Wherever We Land” would be a place for family to connect, create memories, and simply enjoy the beauty of nature. It would be a place where stress melts away and laughter fills the air.

Of course, I wouldn’t completely abandon the finer things in life. A little bit of luxury wouldn’t hurt! A nice camper van built by us, of course, maybe a vacation home somewhere sunny, and definitely a huge lake full of fish to catch and cook whenever the mood strikes.

But ultimately, the lottery win wouldn’t be about the material possessions. It would be about creating lasting memories, sharing my blessings with those I love, and finding a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to buy a lottery ticket. You never know, my dreams might just come true!
