The most important invention in your lifetime is…

I never thought a hole saw would be the MVP of my life. Seriously. I mean, it’s a hole saw. It cuts holes. But right now, as we’re elbow-deep in converting our Dodge Ram ProMaster into a campervan, that humble little tool is the unsung hero of our DIY adventure.

Let me paint you a picture. We’re talking about turning a big, empty metal box into a cozy mobile home. That means walls, a ceiling, a kitchen, a bed – the whole shebang. And guess what? Everything needs to be attached to something. That’s where the hole saw comes in.

We’ve used it for everything. Cutting holes for the fan, the windows, the electrical wiring, even the plumbing for our tiny sink. It’s like a magical portal maker, turning our van into a functional space.

There have been moments, let me tell you, where I’ve stared at a piece of wood, a metal panel, or even the van itself, wondering, “How are we going to do this?” And then, I remember the hole saw. It’s always there, ready to drill its way into my problems.

I know, it sounds dramatic. But when you’re building something with your own two hands, every little victory counts. And every perfectly cut hole feels like a major win.

So, here’s to the hole saw, the unexpected star of our van conversion. Who knew that such a simple tool could be so essential?
