Wherever We Land

If you’ve been following our journey, you know that Snatcher and I love a good adventure—whether it’s camping in a tent, glamping in a dome, or cooking over an open fire. But this time, we’ve taken on something even bigger: converting our van, GLO, into a fully functional camper! 

This has been, hands down, the most ambitious DIY project we’ve ever tackled. From the moment we brought home our Dodge Ram ProMaster, we knew we were in for a challenge, but we were eager and willing to take it on. The idea of having our own customized camper, designed exactly how we want it, is what keeps us motivated—even when the process gets tough. 

Installing the Maxx Air Fan – A Bit of an Undertaking 

Most recently, we installed the Maxx Air Fan, and let’s just say…it was an experience. Cutting a giant hole in the roof of our van? Not something we took lightly! There were measurements, double-checks, and probably some prayers whispered under our breath as we prepped for the cut. But once we committed, there was no turning back. 

After some sweat, a little bit of stress, and a whole lot of teamwork, we got the fan installed! This was a huge step toward making GLO a comfortable living space, ensuring proper airflow and ventilation for our future camping adventures. Now, we can say with confidence: If you’re ever nervous about cutting into your van—just take your time, do your research, and go for it.
