If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be, and why?
If I had the chance to step into someone else’s life for a day, to experience the world through a different lens, I wouldn’t pick a celebrity, a billionaire, or even a historical figure. Nope! I would choose to be the best version of me.
Yes, I said it! I still want to be me—just a wiser, healthier, and more productive version of myself.
Imagine waking up as the version of me who never skips a morning workout, who takes on the day with clarity and purpose. I’d be the me who prioritizes my time wisely, balancing my faith, family, work, and personal growth effortlessly. The me who doesn’t second-guess herself, who fully embraces God’s plan without fear or hesitation.
I’d be the version of me that walks boldly in wisdom, speaking life into others, leading young women with confidence, and living in alignment with the woman God has called me to be. The me who no longer struggles with procrastination but instead takes action and thrives.
For that day, I would fully embrace my potential—pushing past my limits, staying present in every moment, and making intentional choices that fuel my growth. I’d speak with even more conviction, create without overthinking, and trust in my abilities. I’d be the me who stays consistent with exercise, drinks more water, and fuels my body with what it needs rather than what’s convenient.
But here’s the real question: Why stop at one day?
If I can envision this version of myself, then I can take steps every day to become her. God has already given me everything I need—I just have to step into it.
So, while the idea of being someone else for a day sounds intriguing, the truth is, I’d rather spend my time becoming the very best version of Nikki—not just for a day, but for a lifetime.
And if you had the chance to be someone else for a day, who would you choose? Or, better yet—what would the best version of YOU look like?
