When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was growing up, I always wanted to be a nurse. I had dreams of helping people, caring for the sick, and making a difference in the medical field. While I didn’t become a nurse, I did step into the world of healthcare as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Assisting my patients brought me joy and fulfillment, knowing I was making their days a little bit easier with my care and compassion.
But life has a way of changing our paths. Now, I find myself on the other side of the desk, scheduling patient appointments rather than being hands-on in their care. It’s a different role, one that still serves people, but my heart has started beating to a different rhythm—the rhythm of the great outdoors.
The Call of the Wild is now in my heart. Camping, traveling, and exploring nature alongside Snatcher has become our passion. It’s amazing how childhood dreams can shift into something entirely new as we grow. What I once saw as my purpose has transformed into something I never expected but wholeheartedly embrace.
Now, Snatcher and I are on a journey of discovering not just places, but also who we truly want to be. We are creating a life that blends our love for adventure, our faith, and our passion for sharing experiences with others. Through our YouTube channel, *Wherever We Land*, we document our journey, hoping to inspire others to step out of their comfort zones and embrace the beauty of the world around them.
