How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?

When the world came to a standstill, so did we. The pandemic changed everything—our routines, our social lives, and our perspective on what truly matters. For Snatcher and me, it became a time of reflection and reevaluation, and one thing became crystal clear: we needed to be outdoors more.

Camping had always been a part of our lives, but being forced into isolation pushed us deeper into it. It wasn’t just about getting away from crowds; it was about finding peace, learning self-sufficiency, and appreciating the beauty of God’s creation. The more we camped, the more efficient we became. We learned how to pack smarter, cook better over an open flame, and set up a tent in record time. The more we explored, the more we realized how much we wanted to help others experience the same joy and freedom.

That’s why we decided to create a video for our YouTube channel, *Wherever We Land*, to help others take that first step into tent camping. We wanted to show that you don’t need to be a professional outdoorsman to enjoy nature. You just need a little guidance, a willingness to learn, and a desire to disconnect from the world while reconnecting with yourself.

A Word of Caution
Before you jump into tent camping, we have to throw in a disclaimer: We are not professionals. We’re just two people who love the outdoors and want to share what we’ve learned. Camping is an adventure, but it does come with risks. Always do your research, check the weather, and prepare properly before heading out into the wild (So basically, camp at your own risk, not because Nikki and Snatcher shared this blog or video.)

So if you’ve ever considered camping but weren’t sure where to start, check out our video (linked below). We hope it inspires you to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and experience the beauty that nature has to offer.

Happy camping, and may you find the same peace and adventure that we have!
