Wherever We Land

Camping is more than just a way to escape the daily grind; it’s an opportunity to connect with God’s creation, slow down, and nourish not just our bodies but our souls. As we continue sharing our camping adventures through our **Wherever We Land** YouTube channel and blog, we recognize a greater purpose—feeding our camping community and the world with the bread and blood of life that comes from God. 

More Than Just Camping – A Mission for Christ 

When we step into the wilderness, whether in a tent, a van, or under the open sky, we see God’s handiwork all around us. The towering trees, the rushing rivers, the starry skies—all of it is a reminder of His presence. But the world needs more than just a glimpse of His creation; it needs the truth of His word. 

Jesus said in John 6:35 (KJV), 
“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

We believe that just as we share our favorite camping tips, meals, and adventures, we must also share the true sustenance of life—Jesus Christ. Through our videos and blog, we can bring spiritual nourishment to those who may not even realize they are starving for something deeper. 

Feeding the Community Spiritually and Physically 

Camping has a beautiful way of bringing people together—around a campfire, sharing meals, or swapping stories of adventure. But what if every time we shared a meal or a moment, we also shared Christ? 

– **Praying before meals on camera** – Not to show off, but to remind people of the blessing of food and fellowship with God. 
– **Incorporating scripture into our adventures** – Just as we prepare for the journey with gear, we prepare our spirits with the Word. 
– **Encouraging others to embrace the Sabbath** – Taking a day of rest, even in the wilderness, to honor God’s commandment and reflect on His goodness. 
– **Sharing testimonies of faith** – How has God worked in our lives? How has He provided, protected, and guided us through our journeys? 

Just as we enjoy a warm meal by the fire after a long day of hiking, we can offer something far greater—a reminder that God is the ultimate provider and sustainer of life. 

How We Can Change the World 

By consistently including God’s truth in our content, we are planting seeds in hearts all over the world. A simple verse spoken in a video could be the encouragement someone needs. A blog post could lead someone to open their Bible for the first time. Our camping community can be more than just outdoor enthusiasts—it can be a place of spiritual revival and renewal. 

Jesus calls us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world: 

Matthew 5:13-16 (KJV)
“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

As we camp, travel, and explore, let us shine that light boldly. Let us not just feed people’s curiosity about camping but feed their souls with the eternal truth of Jesus Christ.
