Wherever We Land

A couple of months back, Snatcher and I were out camping, filming a sponsorship video for our YouTube channel, *Wherever We Land*. After we wrapped up the main shoot, we decided to keep the camera rolling while we relaxed by the fire.

That’s when we captured a fun little moment—Snatcher trying a s’more for the very first time! We were laughing, enjoying the simplicity of the night, and taking in the warmth of the fire when two families approached us from the other side of the campground.

Turns out, they had been watching us film earlier and were curious about what we were doing. Their curiosity led them over, and what started as a casual conversation quickly turned into something so much more meaningful.

As we talked, we shared the story behind our channel and how it’s about more than just camping—it’s about the journey, the faith walk, and trusting that God’s got us wherever we land. They were genuinely interested, and before long we were deep in conversation about God, the outdoors, and living with purpose.

By the end of the evening, we had filmed them introducing themselves to the “Outside Gang” and even invited them to join us in filming our channel’s tag line. They smiled, laughed, and joined right in:

“God’s got us… Wherever We Land!”

That moment was a true blessing—unexpected but completely orchestrated by God. We may have started the day just trying to capture content, but we ended it with new friends, a shared faith moment, and a reminder that God places people in our path for a reason.
