What do you do to be involved in the community?

At Wherever We Land, we believe in being active members of our community, not for recognition, but for the glory and honor of God. Our mission is twofold: we inspire others to step outside, experience the peace and beauty of God’s creation, and we quietly give back to those in need, all while maintaining a humble spirit.

One way we stay connected with our community is by sharing blogs that encourage others to enjoy the great outdoors. We highlight the beauty of nature, the serenity of camping, and the importance of disconnecting from the distractions of daily life. Our stories are meant to inspire you to experience the same joy and peace we find in God’s creation, whether that’s through a simple nature walk, a tent camping trip, or a quiet moment by a peaceful stream.

But beyond just words, we put our faith into action. We look for opportunities to give back to those who are struggling. Whether it’s providing food to a hungry family, donating clothing to those who need it, or simply lending a listening ear, our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We do this not for attention or praise, but because we believe it is our calling as followers of Christ.

Scripture reminds us in Matthew 6:3-4, “But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.” This verse guides our approach. Our service is not about seeking applause but about being faithful to the call that God has placed on our hearts.

So, as we continue to share our adventures and experiences in nature, we also continue to serve those around us with humility and love. Our hope is that others are inspired not just to explore the world outside but also to look for ways to serve others, giving glory to God in all that they do.

Thank you for being a part of our journey, and may you find peace in God’s creation and joy in serving others. May we all continue to shine His light in the world together.
