How do you waste the most time every day?

šŸ“ŗ The Easiest Way to Waste the Most Time? Turning on the Television

Published by: Wherever We Land | Date: June 22, 2025

Let’s be honest—one of the easiest ways to lose valuable time is by turning on the television. Hours fly by and suddenly you’ve spent the whole evening watching shows that do little to nourish your soul.

Here at Wherever We Land, we challenge you to spend your time differently. Pick up your Bible. Read the living Word and seek a relationship with the God of our fathers—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When you start your day with Him, your whole life begins to shift in purpose and clarity.

🌿 Step Outside Into God’s Creation

After time in the Word, there’s no better place to go than outside. Take a walk, hike a trail, cast a fishing line, or sit quietly under a tree. God’s creation is alive and calling you to slow down and connect with Him in the stillness.

We share our personal journey of doing just that on our YouTube channel. Here’s one of our favorite adventures:

We hope our videos give you practical ideas to help you plan your own trips, even if you’re just escaping for the weekend.

ā˜” When It Rains, Watch With Purpose

We know you can’t be outside all the time. Rainy days and quiet evenings at home have their place too. But instead of binge-watching just anything, choose something that adds value to your walk with God or inspires your next adventure.

That’s the perfect time to catch an episode of Wherever We Land. Here’s another video you might enjoy on a cozy day indoors:

šŸ“£ Let’s Live Purposefully—Together

It’s easy to lose track of what matters when distractions are everywhere. But you have a choice. Trade screen time for Scripture. Trade the couch for a campsite. Let your faith lead you outdoors into a life of freedom, wonder, and purpose.

When you do watch TV, make it count. Join us on YouTube at Wherever We Land, and let’s grow in faith and adventure—together.
